r HDD Cost Model

The Kondex Difference

This app models drilling cost per foot by tying formation-specific fresh-tool Rate-of-Penetration (ROP) to nonlinear wear decay, then converts interval ROP into machine hours, trip hours, and total cost. The logic follows standard drilling definitions of ROP and cost-per-foot based on distance over active drilling time and total cost divided by drilled interval.
